Appointments at the surgery are in high demand.  Wasted appointments may mean that another patient is unable to be seen, results in longer waiting times to book appointments and puts a strain on our resources. We do understand that on occasion there may be a genuine reason why you are unable to attend an appointment and simply ask that you let us know in advance if you are unable to attend. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call or go online to cancel this, so that we may offer it to another patient.

FAILURE TO ATTEND AND LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

If you are unable to attend a pre-booked appointment or are going to be late, we ask that you let us know at least half an hour in advance, in order that we may offer it to another patient.

If you do not cancel and fail to attend 3 appointments within a 6 month period, you will be sent a final written warning.  Another failed attendance within 2 months of the final written warning letter may result in your removal from the practice list.

FAILURE TO ATTEND SAME DAY ACCESS APPOINTMENTS

We reserve the right to withdraw access to Same Day Access appointment booking for any patient, and non-attendance for Same Day Access appointments may result in you no longer having this privilege and you would need to make alternative arrangements for urgent appointments.
